Sandollar Spa And Pool is a family owned buisness which was founded in 1985 by Scott and his wife Sally Simons who still run this company today.

After moving to Maine in the late seventies, (Sally's family was from the area) Scott worked his way up to the plant manager of the Downeast Peat Company. Having given up a successful business in Massachusetts, owning & operating a business was only a matter of time. With Scott's background in electrical & hydraulics, spas and pools were an ideal career for them to get into.   

After more than a year of speaking with the Banks, in March of 1985, we opened the doors of Sandollar Spa And Pool in our first little store on High Street in Ellsworth. The Ellsworth branch later moved to the busy corner of High & Main Street for more exposure.

In 1986 we expanded our operation to include a Bangor store on the corner of State Street & Hogan Road where we ran a rental & sales office there for a few years, but due to a huge increase in buisness a larger location was needed and. the Bangor store moved to the Penobscot Plaza, first leasing the location and later purchasing it. Meanwhile in Ellsworth, we puchased property and built a store  on route 1A which we needed for storage & expansions.

The Bangor office had always done more business, so the natural step was to move all operations under one roof where we could do it all. In January 2006, we moved to our current, spacious, 12,000 square-foot showroom/warehouse facility at 96 Parkway South in Brewer where we are now able to display 17 spas, a vast inventory of chemicals, and the largest parts and service departments in the area.

Our staff has over 175 years combined in the spa and pool buisness with most of the employees having over 20 years of experience.We would like to invite you to come in and browse our extensive inventory of our all new Hot Spring Spas, Calderra spas, swimming pools or just a free water analysis.
